We owe this one to you the volunteer. Over the 15+ years, I have been involved in and around volunteer organizations I have seen many participants that, because of organizational limitations, could not share a particular passion, skill, or life experience. So over time, we started creating a variety of components and placing volunteers in other communities to create satellite projects. This led to the development of component 6-Build Your Own Component and more recently now with the launching of our new program and website The Bulletin Board. Tree Climbing-
A few years ago a well educated bilingual young local was introduced to our program and wanted to help in his spare time. We later found students and volunteers where interested in learning about his profession tree climbing and what a better place to learn than here in the Jungle ! We are investing in this additional 6th Component as we much as we financial can.

Nutrition-
The Nutrition Classes created by Joe who came to us with a Masters in Sports Medicine have been another popular 6th Component element that we teach regularly. The popular 10 week, 10 topic course covers all the basics from Nutrition & Sports to Nutrition & Disease then such subjects as carbohydrates, sugars, fats and proteins. We know this class makes a significant impact because we often receive questions and comments from parents after our students share what they have learned at home.
Science Fair –
More than once we have had volunteers express an interest in helping out the local elementary school with science projects so 2 years ago we started the annual Science Fair & Contest. We hope to find another volunteer soon who can help us with this project starting in the fall of this year.
